Zauberlehrling PS

Zauberlehrling PS OLD (born 2017) is a striking black Oldenburg stallion who is quickly becoming the "magic man" of the Gestüt Schockemöhle roster. Combining the power of Glock’s Zonik with the legendary rideability of Sir Donnerhall I, he has transitioned from a record-breaking young horse champion into a high-demand sire of modern dressage athletes.

As of March 2026, he is a 9-year-old established producer whose first crops are now making headlines at the German licensing events and auctions.

2026 Sport & Performance Update

Now in the prime of his young sport career, Zauberlehrling PS is being developed with an eye toward the international Grand Prix circuit.

• The "Model Student" Reputation: He first dominated as the 2020 Oldenburg Regional Champion, scoring 9.0s for his canter and rideability. He consistently delivers a "swinging back" and an active hindleg that is rare in horses of his massive frame.

• S-Level Preparation: Throughout 2025 and into early 2026, he has been consolidating his training at the Advanced (S-level). He is noted for his natural ability to sit and collect, mirroring the mechanics of his father, Zonik.
