Vancouver de Lanlore
Toulon - Le Tot de Semilly - Echo IX
Vancouver de Lanlore (born 2009) is a dark bay Selle Français stallion standing at 1.70m. A veteran of the Tokyo Olympics and the World Championships, he is one of the most respected 1.60m competitors of the last decade. Known for his "blood," extreme carefulness, and feline-like agility, he has proven his championship quality under three different international riders.
Vancouver de Lanlore has achieved the rare feat of being a top-tier Grand Prix horse for three different riders, showing an adaptable and generous spirit:
-
The Olympic Years (Pénélope Leprévost): With Leprévost, he became a pillar of the French team, competing at the Tokyo 2021 Olympics and the European Championships in Rotterdam. Notable results included winning the Nations Cup of St. Gallen and the Grand Prix of Munich.
-
Swiss Success (Pius Schwizer): In 2022, he moved to Pius Schwizer, with whom he competed at the World Championships in Herning. The duo was incredibly consistent, placing 4th at the 2023 World Cup Final in Omaha and earning podium finishes in the World Cup qualifiers of Basel and Leipzig.
-
Recent Activity (2025–2026): As of early 2026, the stallion has officially retired from top-level sport to focus on his breeding career. In February 2025, it was announced he would move to the Haras National de Saint-Lô in France, marking the start of his full-time availability for breeders.
