Van Vivaldi
Vivaldi - Olivi - Biotop
Van Vivaldi (born 2010) is a black Westphalian stallion who stands as the elegant "modernist" of the Vivaldi dynasty. Owned by the prestigious Lövsta Stuteri (Sweden), he is celebrated for his incredible self-carriage and a "black-gold" pedigree that has made him a staple for breeders across Scandinavia and Belgium.
As of March 2026, he is a 16-year-old stallion entering a new chapter of his career, currently stationed in Belgium to serve the Central European market.
2026 Breeding & Station Update
-
The Belgian Residency: For the 2025 and 2026 seasons, Lövsta Stuteri has expanded its partnership with Stud 111 in Belgium, where Van Vivaldi is currently stationed. This move was designed to make his fresh semen more accessible to breeders in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Germany.
-
Posthumous Honor for his Sire: In early February 2026, his father, Vivaldi (who passed away in late 2025), was posthumously named KWPN Dressage Horse of the Year 2025. This has sparked a renewed "V-line" surge in 2026, with Van Vivaldi being one of the most sought-after direct sons for his refinement and "black" genetics.
Sport Career: The Tinne Vilhelmson Silfvén Era
Van Vivaldi has been developed through the levels by some of the best in the business:
-
International Experience: Under Swedish Olympian Tinne Vilhelmson Silfvén, he successfully competed at the International Small Tour and Intermediate levels, including wins in Wellington, Florida, with scores frequently exceeding 75%.
-
Young Horse Dominance: Earlier in his career, he won the Swedish Licensing for dressage stallions (2014) and was a finalist at the World Championships for Young Horses in Verden.
-
Longevity: In 2026, he is noted for his remarkable soundness and "elasticity" at age 16, a testament to his balanced mechanics.
