Valverde

Valverde NRW (born 2014) is a bright bay Westphalian stallion who stands as one of the most decorated "young horse" champions in history. A son of the legendary Vitalis, he is the living embodiment of power and elasticity, having won nearly every major title available in the German young horse system.

As of March 2026, he is a 12-year-old stallion transitioning into the "peak" of his Grand Prix career and establishing himself as a prolific producer of auction-topping offspring.

2026 Sport Update: The Grand Prix Powerhouse

Valverde has successfully made the difficult leap from a young horse sensation to a high-performance international athlete.

• Louisdor Prize Legacy: Following his 4th place finish in the 2023 Louisdor Prize Final (the German championship for developing Grand Prix horses), Valverde has spent 2024 and 2025 consolidating his work at the highest level.

• International Campaign: In early 2026, Valverde continues to be campaigned by Yara Reichert. The pair is a consistent force in the Intermediaire II and Grand Prix (S*)** ranks. He is noted for his exceptional ability to maintain his signature "swing" even in the highly collected movements of the piaffe and passage.
