Va Bene
Veneno - Belissimo M - Piaster
Va Bene (born 2016) is a chocolate liver chestnut German Sport Horse (DSP) stallion who is currently the "flagship" sire for the Zuchthof Wadenspanner in Bavaria. Often celebrated for his "perfect pose" and exceptional balance, he has become one of the most frequented dressage stallions in Germany due to his ability to pass on his signature rhythmic movement and "golden" temperament.
As of March 2026, he is a 10-year-old high-performance stallion who has officially established himself as a winner at the Advanced (S***) level.
2026 Sport Update: The Grand Prix Trajectory
Va Bene has proven that he is far more than just a "young horse champion" by making a seamless transition into the upper echelons of dressage.
-
S*** Success: Throughout 2025 and early 2026, Va Bene has been highly successful under his long-time rider Johanna Wadenspanner. In February 2026, he secured top placements in Intermediaire II classes (notably at the Ansbach Equestrian Show), consistently scoring over 75%.
-
Grand Prix Maturity: His training for 2026 focuses on the transition to full international Grand Prix. Observers note that his "talent for the gathering lessons" (piaffe and passage) appears innate, characterized by the same rhythmic stability he showed as a youngster.
-
Championship History: He was a finalist at the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Ermelo (2022) and a multi-time qualifier for the Bundeschampionat.
