Total Hope

Total Hope OLD (born 2012) is the "Crown Prince" of dressage breeding. A black Oldenburg stallion of unparalleled pedigree, he is the only horse in history to have won both the Nürnberger Burg-Pokal (2019) and the Louisdor Prize (2021).

As of March 2026, he has moved beyond his status as a "prodigy" to become a cornerstone of the world elite, recently delivering a career-best performance on the international 5* circuit.

2026 Sport Update: The World Elite

Total Hope continues his ascent under the Norwegian flag with Isabel Freese.

• Danish Warmblood Stallion Show 2026: Just days ago, in early March 2026, he was the star of the CDI5* in Herning. He secured a massive 3rd place in the Grand Prix (74.65%) and a spectacular 3rd place in the Freestyle, scoring a massive 81.88%.

• 2025 Salzburg Victory: In December 2025, he achieved a milestone by winning the Salzburg CDI5 Grand Prix* with a personal best of 76.47%, proving he is a consistent podium threat against the world's best.

• Olympic Legacy: Following a strong 10th place finish at the 2024 Paris Olympics, he has entered 2026 with even more strength and maturity, particularly in his piaffe and passage tours, which regularly earn scores of 9 and 10.
