Take That

Take That (born 2019) is a chestnut Hanoverian stallion currently standing at the renowned Klosterhof Medingen in Germany. He is a high-performance dressage prospect known for his exceptional movement—most notably a "perfect 10" canter—and a pedigree that traces back to some of the most influential bloodlines in modern dressage.

As of March 2026, he is a 7-year-old athlete who has successfully transitioned from a young horse sensation to a serious sport contender and a highly sought-after sire.

2026 Sport & Performance Update

• The "Perfect 10" Canter: Take That first gained international attention during his stallion performance test in Verden, where he received the maximum score of 10.0 for his canter. Judges described his gait as having uphill mechanics and ground cover that are rarely seen even in elite horses.

   

• Young Horse Dominance: Throughout 2024 and 2025, he was a consistent winner in young horse dressage tests (Dressurpferdeprüfungen). In the current 2026 season, he is being developed for the Advanced (S-level) ranks, with his training focused on his natural ability for collection.

• Rider & Training: He is stationed at Klosterhof Medingen under the management of the Wahler family, where he is part of a roster that includes legends like De Niro and Caprimond.
