Stedinger
Sandro Hit - Landadel - Futuro
Stedinger (2000–2025) was a dark bay Oldenburg stallion who stood as one of the most significant "type-improvers" in modern dressage history. A son of the legendary Sandro Hit, he became an international breeding phenomenon, siring dozens of licensed sons and over 100 FEI-level competitors.
As of March 2026, the global breeding community is honoring his immense legacy following his passing in late 2025.
2026 Status: A Legend Laid to Rest
Stedinger’s journey concluded recently at the age of 25.

Passing (December 9, 2025): Stedinger passed away peacefully at Springside Warmbloods in Australia. He had spent his final six years there in a relaxed semi-retirement, siring a final few foal crops while enjoying his own paddock.
-
Australian Chapter: Imported to Australia in 2013 by Revelwood Stud, he became the #1 ranked sire in the country and reached a historic milestone in 2017 when he was ranked #8 in the world by the WBFSH—a feat rarely achieved by a stallion based outside of Europe.
