St. Emilion OLD (born 2019) is a black Oldenburg stallion who is currently one of the most exciting young dressage prospects in Germany. Stationed at the prestigious Klosterhof Medingen, he has become a sensation not only for his striking "jet black" looks but for his consistent ability to score near-perfection in rideability and basic gaits.
As of March 2026, he is entering his fourth breeding season as a highly decorated 7-year-old, following a dominant young horse career.
2026 Sport & Performance Update
St. Emilion has spent the early months of 2026 proving that he is a serious contender for the upper echelons of dressage.

Stallion Show Presence: In January and February 2026, he was a highlight of the Klosterhof Medingen Stallion Show and the Privathengstschau in Verden, where he was presented under saddle to high acclaim for his increased strength and ability to collect.

Competition Milestone: Now 7 years old, he is transitioning into the Advanced (S-level) classes. In 2025, he was a finalist at the Bundeschampionat and was awarded the "OLD" suffix by the Oldenburg Verband, a title reserved only for the best horses of the breed.
