Quebracho Semilly

Quebracho Semilly (2004–2017) was a magnificent chestnut Selle Français stallion standing at 1.70m. Often described as the "most technical" son of the foundation sire Le Tot de Semilly, he was a model of consistency throughout his career. He is remembered for his legendary 100% clear-round record as a young horse and his eventual rise to the absolute pinnacle of international 5* jumping.

Quebracho Semilly was the definition of "applied" and "serious." His career was a progression of textbook jumping:

• Young Horse Perfection: At age four, he achieved a perfect 14 out of 14 clear rounds. At age five, he maintained this form with 19 out of 19 clear rounds, finishing as the 5-year-old French Champion (Inter-Regional).

• "Elite" & "Excellent" Status: He was consistently ranked at the top of his generation at the French Championships in Fontainebleau, earning "Elite" at age four and "Excellent" at age six.

• 5 International Career:* Under riders like Katharina Offel and Reynald Angot, he competed at the highest level (CSIO5*). His career highlights include a 5th place finish in the 1.60m Grand Prix of Falsterbo and 2nd place in the 1.60m Grand Prix of Hardelot.

• ISO 171: His performance index reflects his status as one of the most reliable international performers of the 2010s.
