Parco

Parco (1992–2021) was a legendary grey Belgian Warmblood (BWP) stallion who defined an era of showjumping. Ridden by Ludo Philippaerts, he was a fixture on the world stage, known for his immense scope, distinctive "white" coat, and a rock-solid temperament that made him a favorite for both professionals and amateurs.

While Parco passed away in June 2021 at the age of 29, his genetic influence in 2026 remains a cornerstone of international jumping pedigrees.

A Career of Olympic Proportions

Parco followed in the footsteps of his famous sire, Darco, often matching his legendary achievements:

• Athens Olympics (2004): Finished an agonizingly close 4th place individually, narrowly missing a medal.

• Championship Pedigree: He secured 4th place at the 2003 European Championships in Donaueschingen and finished 9th in the 2006 World Equestrian Games in Aachen.

• Global Winner: He won the CSI5 Grand Prix of Estoril* and the CSI5 of Monte Carlo*, and was a key member of numerous winning Nations Cup teams for Belgium.

• National Pride: He was the Belgian National Champion in 2000.
