Moreno OLD

Moreno OLD (born 2017) is a refined and powerful Oldenburg stallion who has successfully transitioned from a celebrated young horse champion into a rising star for the junior dressage ranks. A dark bay standing at approximately 169 cm, he is noted for his "striking mechanics" and a rhythmic, uphill trot that made him a standout at the Vechta licensing.

As of early 2026, he is primarily focused on his sport career under a new rider, while his first few foal crops are beginning to show promise in the young horse rings.

Moreno OLD’s career has been characterized by high scores for rideability and structural correctness.

• Premium Stallion (2019): He was named the 1d Premium Stallion at the Oldenburg Stallion Days in Vechta, where he was a crowd favorite for his charisma and elastic movement. He later sold at auction for €120,000 to the renowned Gerd Sosath station.

• Young Horse Championships (2020): Under Veronika Steinhof, he was the Oldenburg Vice-State Champion and placed 5th in the Bundeschampionat Final for 3-year-old stallions, scoring a 9.0 for both his walk and conformation.

• Sport Tests (2021–2022): He successfully completed his mandatory sport tests in Münster-Handorf, confirming his high-level rideability and mechanical precision.
