Le Tot De Semilly
Grand Veneur - Juriste - Laurier Thym
Le Tot de Semilly (1977–2008) is the immortal "Patriarch" of French show jumping. A chestnut Selle Français stallion standing at 167 cm, he was the horse that transformed the Levallois family into a global breeding dynasty and revitalized the influence of the "Grand Veneur" bloodline.
As of early 2026, he is no longer just a stallion; he is a genetic cornerstone. His name appears in the pedigrees of a staggering percentage of the world’s Top 100 jumping horses, most notably through his legendary son, Diamant de Semilly.
The Legend of the Sport
Le Tot was a pioneer of the "professional" sport horse era. Ridden by Eric Levallois, he was one of the first French horses to be officially sponsored by the French Equestrian Federation (FFE).
