Kataro

Kataro (born 2018) is the "firstborn" champion and the first licensed son of the superstar Karajan. A bay Hanoverian standing at 170 cm, he represents the continuation of a "dynasty of power" at Klosterhof Medingen, while adding a layer of elite rideability and rhythm from his maternal line.

As of early 2026, he has established himself as one of the most reliable young jumping sires in Germany, following a string of record-breaking test results and early sport victories.

Stallion Performance Results

Kataro’s career is defined by "test wins" and a naturally competitive spirit:

• The 14-Day Test Winner (2021): He dominated his 14-day performance test in Adelheidsdorf, finishing as the overall winner with a final score of 8.45, with his jumping talent being the clear highlight.

• The 9.09 Sport Test (2022): He confirmed his elite status in Verden, winning his sport test for 4-year-old stallions with a massive 9.09. He received high praise for his balance, overview, and the quality of his canter.

• Vice-Champion (2022): Under Christian Temme, Kataro won five out of six starts in his debut season and became the Vice-Champion of Show Jumping Horses in Verden.
