Kalaska de Semilly

Kalaska de Semilly (born 1998) is a legendary chestnut Selle Français stallion standing at 1.68m. Known as the "horse of a lifetime" for the Al Maktoum family, he is a rare example of a stallion who not only competed at the absolute pinnacle of the sport but also proved to be the perfect partner for a young rider transitioning to the world stage. He is celebrated for his "extraordinary heart," suppleness, and a jumping technique that experts call "pure textbook."

Kalaska’s career is defined by remarkable longevity and a consistent presence in major championships:

• Olympic & WEG Veteran: Ridden by Sheikha Latifa Al Maktoum, he competed at the 2008 Beijing Olympics and the 2010 World Equestrian Games in Lexington.

• Asian Games Hero: He secured individual and team Silver Medals at the 2010 Asian Games in Guangzhou and a bronze medal at the 2006 Doha Asian Games.

• Early Brilliance: Before his international career, he was the French 4-Year-Old Champion in 2002.
