Hohenstein
E.H. Caprimond - Matador - Grimsel
Hohenstein I (1991–2013) was a "black beauty" and a pivotal figure in the modernization of the Trakehner breed. A stallion of immense elegance and nobility, he was the flagship of the Klosterhof Medingen station and a primary driver of Trakehner influence in Hanoverian breeding.
Though he passed away in 2013, his impact remains profound in 2026, particularly through his daughters and his legendary son, His Highness.
