Franklin

Franklin (born 2010) is a high-octane KWPN stallion who has become a cornerstone of modern dressage breeding. Known for his "electric" movement and extreme knee action, he is often credited with bringing a new level of "spark" and active hindleg mechanics to the sport.

Stallion Performance Results

Franklin’s career has been marked by dominance in young horse competitions and a successful rise to the highest levels:

• Triple Champion: He was the 2013 KWPN Champion Stallion, winner of his stallion performance test in the Netherlands, and the KWPN 5-year-old Champion.

• High Scores: During his performance test, he received a 10.0 for his trot and a 9.5 for his canter, with a 9.0 for rideability.

• World Stage: He was a finalist at the World Breeding Championships for Young Horses as a 5-year-old (6th place) and as a 6-year-old.

• International Grand Prix: Under Malin Wahlkamp-Nilsson, he transitioned successfully to International Grand Prix, proving that his explosive young-horse movement could be channeled into the collected work required for the big tour.
