Farewell III (born 2000) is a veteran titan of Westphalian breeding, often described as a "model of consistency." A large, dark bay stallion (170 cm), he is a rare individual who achieved the highest honors as a young horse before proving his mettle at the international Grand Prix level.

Farewell III’s career is a "triumphant march" through the levels of German dressage. He is best known for his historic success at the Bundeschampionate, where he was a finalist three times and ultimately crowned the 6-year-old Bundeschampion in 2006.
His transition to the "Big Tour" was seamless. By age nine, he finished 3rd in the prestigious Nürnberger Burg-Pokal Final, recognized as the best breeding stallion in the class. Over his competitive career, he secured over 35 placings at S-level (Advanced), including 11 victories at the Prix St. Georges and Intermediaire I levels. He eventually competed successfully at Grand Prix, cementing his status as a horse with the talent for the most difficult collection.
