Fürst Fugger
Fürst Heinrich - Weltmeyer - Pik Bube II
Fürst Fugger (born 2006) is a strikingly noble, black-brown Oldenburg stallion standing at 1.70m. A legendary figure in German dressage, he is one of the most successful sons of the late Fürst Heinrich.
Fürst Fugger’s career is a rare example of a horse winning the most prestigious young horse title in Germany twice:
-
Double Bundeschampion: He was the 3-year-old champion in 2009 (ridden by Lukas Fischer) and famously returned in 2012 to win the 6-year-old Bundeschampionat under Olympic champion Kristina Bröring-Sprehe.
-
Main Premium Winner: In 2010, he was the Oldenburg I-a Main Premium Winner, an honor awarded for both his sport performance and the exceptional quality of his first foal crops.
-
International Career: After his early success, he was sold to Colombian rider Marco Bernal to compete in the United States at the Grand Prix level.
