Ekano DKS Semilly (born 2014) is a striking grey Selle Français stallion standing at 1.69m. A true "prodigy" of the French breeding system, he achieved the rare feat of being crowned Champion of France at age 3, 4, and 5. He represents a high-performance cocktail of modern European genetics and has quickly become a "star in the making" at the Haras de Semilly.

 

Ekano DKS is one of the few horses in history to dominate the French young horse championships for three consecutive years:

  • Triple Champion of France: He won the national title at age 3 (Licensing), age 4 (Normandy Champion and Indoor Champion), and age 5 (Fontainebleau Elite).

  • Reliability Personified: In his 5-year-old season, he completed 21 clear rounds out of 22, earning the highest "Elite" distinction.

  • The Comeback: After a two-year hiatus due to a hoof injury at age 6, he made a triumphant return to the ring in 2023 and 2024. Competing often barefoot, he has already secured wins and top rankings in 1.40m and 1.45m Grand Prix classes in Saint-Lô and Deauville.
