Casallo Z (born 2004) is a compact and exceptionally refined chestnut Zangersheide stallion standing at 1.67m. He is famously the "horse of a lifetime" for Italian rider Piergiorgio Bucci.

 

Casallo Z was known on the international circuit for his "feline" movement—fast, agile, and remarkably respectful of the poles. His career highlights are extensive:

  • Global Ranking: In 2016, he was ranked the 11th best jumping horse in the world by the WBFSH.

  • Major Victories: He won the CSI5 Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Estoril* and the CSI3* Grand Prix of Arnhem.

  • Nations Cup Star: He was a pillar of the Italian team, jumping clear in the Nations Cups of Dublin, Rome, and Arezzo.
